Maya is a self-love expert, writer, poet, educator, and advocate for the empowerment of Black women and children. Maya is a Temple University graduate with a B.A. in Psychology and a Child Development Associate Credential.
Through her brand, Live In Love Boutique, she creates journals, aromatherapy products, workshops, and community experiences that remind us that self-love is not only personal but revolutionary—a pathway to liberation, creativity, and collective healing.
Her favorite stone:
"My favorite stone is amethyst. It’s my birthstone which sparked my interest in learning more about it. After embarking on my self-love journey I learned about its relation to the crown chakra and the energies that it holds. For me, it is a stone of the divine highest self that radiates energies of purity, wisdom, love and connection. It is said to aid in spiritual awareness, emotional healing, mental clarity, and stress relief."
